Our History

Moose Auto Glass, Inc. has served the Tyler/ East Texas area for over seven decades. In 1954, on West Erwin Street in Tyler, Bill Moose set out to provide quality auto glass repairs and custom upholstery at reasonable prices. In 1960, the business was relocated to the corner of Glenwood and Erwin. In 1985 Bill’s youngest son, Eddy Moose, purchased the company from his father. Within a few years, Moose Auto Glass, Inc. needed room to expand. In 1989, the store was moved to 4220 Timms Street, its current location. More than 50 years later, Eddy and his team of professionals specialize in auto glass and upholstery and have added many other services to the business, including window tinting, window regulator/motor repair or replacements, and mobile repair service.
